The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
